Our understanding of Northern, Central and Southern Saskatchewan are based on the regions identified by the Government of Saskatchewan’s Community Initiative Fund.

  • Northern Saskatchewan refers to the region that “extends from the Alberta to Manitoba borders, beginning (L-R) north of Goodsoil, Meadow Lake and across to Nipawin, then along the North Saskatchewan River and south of Cumberland House.”

  • Central Saskatchewan refers to the region that “extends from the Alberta to the Manitoba borders in a straight horizontal line from the Alberta border, along Highway #15 through Kenaston to the Manitoba border.”

  • Southern Saskatchewan refers to the region that “extends (L-R) south of the Central region from the Alberta to the Manitoba borders, and ends at the 49th parallel, the US Border.”

We are currently looking to fill vacant seats on our Board in an interim capacity!
